A low score isn’t a verdict on you — it’s a verdict on this version of this idea, and an honest one is more useful than a flattering one. The team’s job isn’t just to score what’s in front of them. It’s to find what could change the picture in either direction — the unstated assumption that could turn a viable idea unviable, or the missing piece that could turn an unviable idea into a real business. That work continues for as long as you want to do it.
Yes. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then. After that, your accumulated work is preserved in your account and remains accessible if you reactivate later.
Your accumulated Briefings, chat history, and team progress are preserved in your account. If you reactivate later — months or years from now — you pick up exactly where you left off. The team remembers you.
If you’d prefer to have your data deleted entirely, you can request deletion at any time from your account settings.
Yes. Each Briefing is downloadable as a PDF from your workspace.
Path A purchases are refundable until you send your first message in the Council chat. You can open the chat, see Nathan, get a sense of what you’re about to do — and still opt out if it isn’t for you. Once you send a message, the session is underway and the purchase is non-refundable.
Subscriptions follow the same principle. If you’ve subscribed and haven’t sent any messages within 7 days, you can request a full refund. Once you’ve had a session — meaning you’ve sent at least one message to any team member — the month is non-refundable.
For ongoing subscriptions, you can cancel anytime to stop future billing. Your current period is not refunded, but you keep access until it ends.
Your conversations and Briefings are private to your account. We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent. We do not sell your data or share it for marketing purposes.
We work with operational providers (payment processing, AI infrastructure, hosting) who handle data on our behalf under strict confidentiality terms. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
You can request deletion of your account and all data at any time from account settings.

Yes. Bring as many as you want. Each new business gets its own Council validation — Nathan takes the brief, a fresh panel convenes, they deliver a verdict. The four advisors — Elijah, Michael, Sarah, Daniel — work with you across every business you bring. Each session starts with the advisor asking which business you’re working on today.
There’s no extra charge for additional businesses. They all draw from your subscription’s monthly capacity, the same as everything else.
The Council for that business stays in that business’s chat. Return to it anytime — the same panel that did your original validation can re-evaluate as the business evolves. New conditions, updated verdict, fresh Briefing. This happens within your subscription capacity; there’s no separate charge.
No, and this is intentional. The advisors work with you across all your businesses because cross-business pattern recognition is part of how good advisors work. Each session begins with which business you’re working on today — and Daniel noticing that your unit economics question for business A looks a lot like the one he flagged for business B last month is the kind of thing only a team with portfolio context can do.
The team has shared memory. Elijah knows what the Council surfaced for business B even if he was working on business A with you yesterday. The handoff isn’t manual; the team’s working memory is structured so every member knows where every other member is.
Yes. The team is delivered through AI — specifically, through Anthropic’s models, which run inside an architectural framework written by hand over several months.
That framework is the point. Most AI tools you’ve used are a model with a short prompt — a few paragraphs telling it what role to play. The team behind Formwork is something else: hundreds of specific behavioral rules across the team that they will never break, a constitutional protocol governing how the Council convenes and how advisors hand off work to each other, named team members with specific backgrounds and ways of working, and hand-written session structures. The work that went into building the team is what makes them feel different from a chatbot — and they behave differently because the architecture they operate inside is different.
The model is the engine. The team is what was built around it. If you’ve used AI tools before and felt like they were flattering you to keep you coming back, that’s a property of how those tools were built — not of AI itself. Formwork was built the other way around, with rules the team can’t break, including the rule that it tells you the truth about your idea even when the truth is uncomfortable.
